From the basics of coding to the complexities of incorporating a startup, our programs equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
The Innovation League is the new home for ambitious high school students who want to learn how to become changemakers and solve problems! Teams of students learn how to build businesses while attending weekly practices led by Innovation Coaches and tech mentors. The season culminates with an Innovation Bowl where teams compete for cash prizes up to $5,000!
This annual city-wide coding competition give teens a platform to show off their web development skills in a fun and competitive environment. After several weeks of mentoring sessions, students present their websites and compete to win cash prizes.
The Tech and Innovation Internship is an opportunity that empowers high school and college students to become an entrepreneur, innovator, and tech leader.
Our Intro to Coding session is a one hour overview of the basics of coding, its importance, and how it connects to the world around us. Students will learn the building blocks of HTML and CSS and will be given access to resources to further their knowledge.
Our flagship coding class, CBK Classroom follows a project based learning curriculum and is meant to expose students to foundational content. Intro to Tech is a 25 hour course and covers how to build your own website from scratch.
Our flagship coding class, CBK Classroom follows a project based learning curriculum and is meant to expose students to foundational content related to web design, problem solving, business creation, and more. Intro to Innovation is a 36 hour course and covers how to develop a startup business idea and build a website that showcases their idea.
Our flagship coding class, CBK Classroom follows a project based learning curriculum and is meant to expose students to foundational content related to problem solving, startup creation, and more. Intro to Entrepreneurship is a 20 hour course and covers how to develop a startup business idea and a basic pitch deck.
CBK programs are free for all participants.
We have a variety of programs, from classes to competitions and internships, that overall serve ages from 8 to 22. Many of our beginner level programs and workshops serve our younger students, while internships foucs on students ages 16-22. Please check each program for specific age requirements.
While our focus is on providing support to students in Philadelphia, you do not need to be a resident of Philadelphia to participate. But as most of our programming is in-person or hybrid, students will need to be in the Philadelphia area.
While each program is different, most CBK programs do not require previous experience to participate.
