Are you ready to take your tech skills to the next level? Cb201: Build DEV is a comprehensive web development course that turns students into confident web developers capable of building professional, interactive websites. Students progress through HTML for structuring content, CSS for visual design, and JavaScript for interactivity. Using industry-standard tools like GitHub and VS Code, students complete hands-on projects including a styled landmark website and a functional calculator application. By the end of the course, students will have a project portfolio and a solid foundation in web development fundamentals. This course fosters creative problem-solving and critical thinking — skills that are crucial in today's digital landscape.
This course is offered in both middle and high school versions. The middle school course introduces JavaScript fundamentals, while the high school course goes deeper into JavaScript and full front-end development.

Do you need previous experience to register?
Yes, this class does require previous coding experience. Students should have taken our Basic Skills, Intro to Innovation, Discover, or Cb101: Explore course or pass a basic skills assessment.
Is there a cost for enrollment?
No, Coded by: programs are free for all participants.
Is there an Attendance Policy?
Yes, our Attendance Policy only allows for 2 unexcused absences.
