Meet Esther. Esther joined Coded by: in 2024, testing her development skills in our Ctrl+Shift coding competition. She came back for our 2025 Tech & Innovation Internship eager to keep learning new skills and gained a new found confidence in her abilities.

What makes you interested in tech and entrepreneurship?

I like tech because I can take an idea and turn it into something real. I like entrepreneurship because it’s about solving problems and creating things that help people.

What’s something surprising that you learned during your time with Coded by?

I discovered that technology isn’t just about writing code - it’s about solving real problems, communicating clearly, and building things that can make a real impact on people’s lives. By the end of the internship, I didn’t just walk away with new technical skills; I left with more confidence in myself, a stronger belief in my ability to learn, and an excitement to keep exploring the world of tech.

How has Coded by: helped you move towards your goals?

Coded by: gave me real experience and showed me what it’s like to work in a team. It made me feel more ready for future jobs.
