Coded by: is seeking a Part-Time Instructor to teach foundational coding and technology concepts to elementary and middle school students in our Cb: Classroom program, including Cb101: Explore, Discover Workshops, and Innovation Sprints.
This role focuses on introducing students to technology for the first time. Many students are beginners and may not yet see themselves as “tech people.” Your role is to make technology feel accessible, engaging, and worth continuing, while building foundational skills and confidence.
Students arrive with widely varying experience levels, requiring you to assess understanding in real time and adjust instruction accordingly. This role requires strong classroom presence, high energy, and the ability to create structure and momentum in every session.
While applicants select a primary instructional pathway during the application process, instructors may be assigned to teach across different Coded by: programs based on their skills, experience, training, and organizational needs.
Your selected pathway helps guide the interview and evaluation process but does not guarantee your initial or future teaching assignments.
Our goal is to match instructors with opportunities where they can be most effective while providing the training and support needed to succeed.
